MYSL is an institution of the Muslim Association of Canada (MAC), a non-profit organization, which is formed to serve our Muslim youth. MAC strives to extend its service to more Muslims around Canada.

Initially founded in Toronto in December of 2001, MAC was proud to announce the launch of a Montreal branch of this league in winter 2008.

The mission of MYSL is to unite the Muslim youth of Montreal in an organized, Islamic atmosphere, which will facilitate for the Ta3arof and the brotherhood bonding between individuals while cultivating and encouraging positive athletic sportsmanship, self-discipline, and team spirit.

Our first event was an Indoor league for the youth in the winter of 2008-09. With Allah swt's grace it was a memorable and successful season. 

Our first Outdoor Season finished on the first weekend of ramadan. Alhamdulillah it was an excellent start to this blessed month, building lasting memories with teammates, coaches, and parents.
